Photoshop crashes when using Merge to HDR Pro

Hi,

When I use the "Merge to HDR Pro" feature with ~400 photos, Photoshop will successfully import and merge them, but then the app crashes (simply just quits to desktop) before it gets to the final adjustments page. I can merge 50 photos just fine without error. Does anyone have a solution to this? 

I'm currently running Adobe Photoshop with these system specs:
-RTX 4070ti

-64GB DDR5 5200MHz

-Ryzen 9 7950X

-Samsung 980 Pro 2TB

-Windows 11 Pro 64bit

The photos are ~1.2MB each, JPG, and taken on a tripod.
