27.1 does not appear to make any difference. My recording was made in 27.1
- The freezing happens with brand new and with existing PSDs. It should be noted that I can open an existing PSD is Photoshop is not open and it will open the program an PSD simultaniously. However if I attempt to open a PSD drictly from the "Open" function of Photoshop, it will cause the program to freeze.
- The freezing does not prompt a windows error in any way (no program not responding message etc), it simple freezes the window exactly as is and nothing can be hovered over or interacted with in any way. The program can then only be shut down via ending the task in Task Manager.
