Photoshop JPEG files not recognized by Instagram on iOS after Dropbox transfer

Hello Adobe Support Team,

I am facing a recurring issue with JPEG files exported from Photoshop that appear to be related to metadata or file compatibility.

Environment details:

• Device: iPhone 15 Pro

• OS: iOS (latest version)

• Application: Adobe Photoshop (2026)

• File transfer method: Photoshop → Dropbox → iPhone

• Platform where issue occurs: Instagram (iOS app)

Issue description:
JPEG images exported from Photoshop (sRGB, RGB mode, Baseline Standard) do not appear in Instagram’s gallery picker on iOS after being downloaded from Dropbox. The files are valid JPEGs and can be viewed normally in Files or Dropbox, but Instagram does not detect them as selectable media.

What happens if you leave Dropbox out of the equation?

Is this only on Instagram for iPhone or is it also on Instagram for desktop?
