There were some great ideas posted in our previous '180' darts challenge. Thanks to all who took the time to participate.
This week we are off to Loch Tarff in the highlands of Scotland. The loch is close to Loch Ness on the south-east side. It's name Tarff translates as bad-tempered or, when referring to weather, as severe or intense. There are some sources though, that suggest the word Tarff used here is a transliteration of the Gaelic word Tarbh which means bull. Tarbh-uisge were mythological creatures said to inhabit moorland lochs. If those descriptions don't give you a starting point for creating and image in this week's challenge then what will?
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

I'm imagining the "sploosh" when the cat hits the loch! You're also perfectly on-topic for the new Cross-Product Creative Challenge.

I keep looking at this and wondering what is going on Leslie, but I think the cat has got an especially compact version of the Gravity Jet Suit built into that green ring. Excellent as always. I think you should have a 'Queen of France' comic strip sindicated in all the major daily news outlets... except for Fox News.

Ha! Well we agree on the topic of Fox News! Thanks, I actually did have a syndicated newspaper strip some years back, called Murray's Law. It was also the name of my greeting card line until my card publisher went behind my back and put the trademark in his own name. I fought it for years and had to give up, and registered my new trademark Queen of France Studios.

You caught the weather perfectly, Alan, and of course used a proper highland coo. 🙂

I've done my time fishing for trout in highland lochs in the driech, slanting summer rain, with the occasional hielan' coo in attendance.

I used Nano Banana 3.0 to arrange most of the scene, but I fixed the faces and changed the lighting in Photoshop.

You have the makings of a good Scottish detective series there, Myra. I love the lighting.
