Elements 2025 pop-ups keep interferring with opening the editor with message Editor is busy!

Suddenly I'm having problems with opening the editor in Elements 2025. I immediately get a pop-up ad, I close the ad, but my photo doesn't load, and I'm told the editor is busy. I have to close and reload the editor all over again. How can I fix this? Thanks

Uncheck what the arrows  are pointing to.  give it some time, possibly up to two weeks, and they will probably go away.  I know you're thinking "Two weeks, that a load of bs" but that is the way it is.
