We use Adobe Stock to buy images for our newsletter or social media channel. We always insert the copyright in the pictures. However, since this is very complex, I checked the license terms of Adobe Stock to see to what extent this is necessary. Accordingly, the copyright for images that are noted with the note "for editorial use only" must be specified. But what about pictures that don't have this hint?

Attribution is not required for normal images, but there is another exception. From the terms of use: "You only need to add a photo credit if the image is used in an editorial post or on social media. If you use editorial images in printed matter, websites, blogs, etc., the source information on the Adobe Stock website and in the IPTC field for the source must be included. Example: "Agency name / author name - stock.adobe.com"
Furthermore: ā¦""Social Media Site" means a website or application which has a primary focus on facilitating social interaction among its users and allowing users to share content in connection with such social interaction."
