Does Business Catalyst Support Ioncube?

Explorer ,
Mar 08, 2015 Mar 08, 2015

Question:

Is it possible to run JRox/Ioncube on an Adobe Business Catalyst server?

Back Story:

I have a client who has the need to extend the capabilities of the built-in BC Affiliate program. They currently own and have been using JRox Affiliate Marketing Software‌. This software is PHP based and requires the Ioncube to authenticate the JRox PHP script license.

BC tech thread, "Server-side scripts will not run in BC." However, also indicated is that apps run on a remote serve could be integrated (iframed) into BC?

Looking for a best practice, or alternative compatible BC solution. I.e., Omnistar, Post Affiliate Pro, SalesForce...

—Many thanks!

Kind Regards,

Doug McClure

Hi there,

from the above mentioned possibilites, I'm sure that Post Affiliate Pro integrates with Adobe Business Catalyst. It is PHP based as well.

Here's a guide on how to integrate Post Affiliate Pro with BC: http://addons.qualityunit.com/integration-methods/_ibusinesscatalyst/?_ga=1.184847597.55655338.14238...

Thanks David!

Yes JRox is also a PHP application. I will read through the link that you sent and see if there are any bits of wisdom that may apply to this app as well. I appreciate your responding!

Cheers,

Doug
