P: LrC 15.0.1 and ACR 18.0 do not recognize the Hasselblad lens XCD 35-100E.

The lens profile is available for manual selection in the list of profiles, but the tools cannot automatically assign it, unlike with other lenses when selecting "Enable Profile Correction."

This is clearly a bug, as the mechanism works for all other XCD lenses.

Hey, @srdjanmitrovic, & @t324841137o5w. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. I'll share this with the product team for review.

Could you share a few sample images where this does not work as expected?

Thanks!

Hi Sameer,

I want to share the raw file, but it's 211MB, and therefore cannot be attached here. Is there another method for larger files?

Thanks,

- Srdjan

@t324841137o5w: "My lens is not automatically recognized either."

See step 4 for how to change the default lens profile for that camera/lens combination:

Here is the link to a raw file produced with XCD 35-100E.

Attached is also a screenshot of the lens correction tab for that lens. Note that the profile for that lens exists and can be manually selected, but the lens should be chosen automatically once "Enabled Profile Corrections" is enabled.

Yes, manual lens selection works. We are having issues with automatic lens selection (as done for all other known lenses).

Understood. Did you try step 4 of the linked help article? It explains how to change the default for that lens so the correct profile is *automatically* selected when you choose Enable Lens Profile.  It's a convenient workaround for the issue of LR / CR not selecting the correct profile.

See the attached screen recording.

Thank you for the hint about changing the default. Since the focal length is included in the lens model name, I would have to add a default for every possible focal length, which is very inconvenient.

Both XCD 20-35 and 35-100 encode the model name as 25-35@28 or 35-100@95, respectively. Automatic lens selection works well with XCD 20-35.

Thank you for providing the RAW file.
When I tried this file, the profile couldn't be selected automatically either.
My own RAW files also fail to have profiles selected automatically. (XCD 35-100E)
The XCD 20-35E lens automatically selects the profile.
